PRINCIPLES
On December 29, 2020, APSV Advogados made a commitment to the Global Compact.
The Global Compact is an initiative of the United Nations aimed at promoting sustainable growth and citizenship through committed and innovative corporate leadership.
Like 16,000 other members, including companies and organizations in 160 countries, we have chosen these guidelines to guide our voluntary commitment to adopting and promoting 10 universal principles related to human rights, labor, the environment, and governance, and to contribute to the achievement of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
SDGs
Focused on a sustainability agenda to be implemented by 2030, the United Nations General Assembly created a collection of 17 goals known as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Each SDG is complementary and interdependent, addressing social and economic development issues such as poverty, hunger, health, education, global warming, gender equality, water, sanitation, energy, urbanization, the environment, and social justice.
The 2030 Agenda is an ambitious universal Action Plan, directed not only at public entities but also at businesses and civil society as a whole, with a focus on collaboration in a spirit of partnership for a better world.
